Download a regulatory document
A ready disclosure has a downloadable PDF information sheet, including when its coverage is incomplete. Merchants and accountants can review or print it, copy identifiers, and use the information when completing their own declarations. It is not an official government form or proof of submission.
Call the document endpoint using your API key and the same account and mode as the disclosure. Set the variables as in the quickstart:
curl --include \
"https://api.paypercut.io/v1/regulatory_disclosures/$DISCLOSURE_ID/document" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $PAYPERCUT_SECRET_KEY" \
-H "Paypercut-Account: $ACCOUNT_ID"
The endpoint returns 303 See Other with a short-lived URL in the Location header and Cache-Control: no-store. Copy the URL from Location and use it to download the PDF:
curl --output regulatory-information.pdf 'DOWNLOAD_URL_FROM_LOCATION_HEADER'
The download is an application/pdf attachment. Use the URL promptly and request a new one if it expires. Do not cache the URL or send your API credential with the download request. Later requests reuse the document for the same disclosure; create a new disclosure for updated information.
If the disclosure is not ready, wait and check its status before retrying. For 401 or 403, check the key, permission and selected account; for 404, check the disclosure ID, account and mode. For temporary errors, retry with bounded backoff. Keep the trace_id from an error response, if present, when contacting support.
